TILT: 6th Annual Summer Solstice Concert

A Celebration of Light at Grace Cathedral

Join us for the sixth edition of TILT, an immersive summer solstice experience offering a different angle on music, light, and community — all set within the stunning beauty of Grace Cathedral on the longest day of the year.

The evening begins with The Warm-Up: a festive welcome featuring our signature TILT cocktail, local craft ales, and curated bistro bites. As the sunlight fades through the cathedral’s radiant stained-glass windows, the concert unfolds in a glowing fusion of sound and color.

Curated and music-directed by Ronny Michael Greenberg, this year’s program features the legendary, Grammy Award-winning soprano Leah Crocetto, whose soaring voice has graced stages from the Metropolitan Opera to the Sydney Opera House and Vienna. Together, they bring to life a luminous program spanning opera and jazz.

Visual alchemy returns with Mad Alchemy’s Analog Liquid Light Show, casting a kaleidoscope of color throughout the sacred space.

Ronny Michael Greenberg joins forces with conductor Benjamin Firer for a thrilling performance of Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 2, the dramatic centerpiece of an all-French program with the Harper Symphony Orchestra. Their collaboration brings fresh energy and elegance to this beloved work, known for its fiery opening, graceful middle movement, and virtuosic finale. The evening also features Saint-Saëns’ Marche Militaire Française and Franck’s Symphony in D Minor.

An Evening on the Stage: Honoring The Honorable Nancy Pelosi and Mr. Paul Pelosi

Step into an unforgettable night of glamour and celebration at An Evening on the Stage, San Francisco Opera Guild’s signature gala honoring The Honorable Nancy Pelosi, Speaker Emerita of the US House of Representatives, and Mr. Paul Pelosi.

The evening begins at 6:00pm with cocktails in the grand lobby, where guests will be serenaded by the captivating Ronny Michael Greenberg at the piano. Known for his dynamic presence and artistry, Greenberg will also curate an extraordinary musical experience during the on-stage dinner, featuring powerhouse performances by tenor Moisés Salazár and soprano Caroline Corrales. Greenberg is thrilled to have this special opportunity to celebrate the Pelosis’ indelible influence on the arts.

An immersive experience taking the members of Young President’s Organization on a culinary and musical tour of Italy at the Culinary Institute of America at Copia in Napa. Mr. Greenberg takes the stage with internationally acclaimed baritone Edward Nelson and Bay Area star soprano Cara Gabrielson.

In honor of the 5th Annual TILT Summer Solstice Concert at Grace Cathedral, we celebrate the iconic Rhapsody in Blue ‘s centennial with the Telegraph Quartet, double bassist Charles Chandler, and mezzo-soprano and aerialist Nikola Printz with Gershwin and other “ Blue” songs!

Featured pianist & entertainer for Holidays at Filoli in the Grand Ballroom!

This is a long standing tradition where pianos are playing all around the San Francisco Botanical Garden immersed in nature! From 3-4pm Ronnty will be representing San Francisco Opera during their 101st Season opening weekend in the Zellerbach Gardens, with vibrant and virtuosic arrangements of Grand Opera (Rigoletto, Tristan und Isolde, Fledermaus), paired with music that mirrors the beauty and intimacy of the gardens (Debussy & Mozart).

TILT is a different angle on music, an intimate concert in honor of the Summer Solstice, taking place in the marvelous ambiance of Grace Cathedral on the longest day of the year. We begin the evening with The Warm Up, a reception with a signature TILT cocktail, local craft ales, and bistro bites. And as the sunlight fades from the glittering stained glass windows, revel in live performances with mezzo-soprano Nikola Printz, baritone Efraín Solis and curator/pianist Ronny Michael Greenberg.

TILT is in memory of Paul Crane Dorfman (1939-2018), a good friend of the cathedral who loved music, culture, houses of worship, fresh ideas, and mentoring young people.

Prepare to be blown away by the electrifying pianist extraordinaire, Ronny Michael Greenberg, as he takes the stage to perform his favorite pieces by Liszt, Chopin, Debussy, Mozart, Jelly Roll Morton and his own compositions.
